Background 

Parents, Mike and Vonda Foraie, raised Dan on a large farm in the heart of the Canadian Rockies in Golden, BC.

The second to baby of nine siblings, (four boys & five girls), Dan learned at a young age the value of hard work, teamwork, and persistance.

“I was raised a motor head as were my brothers,” explains Dan, fondly recalling the days of chasing them around as they competed in a variety of racing sports. “They were my idols, I always wanted to be like them.”
